Mavic 3 DroneID Removal Update: Important Changes

I've got some crucial updates to share with you about the future of Drone-Hacks and DroneID removal feature.

Community Feedback Leads to New Decision

After receiving valuable feedback from our users, we have decided not to completely remove the DroneID removal feature.

Instead, it will be disabled by default in Drone-Hacks (DH) version 1.

To enable DroneID removal, you will need to use specific commands.

Please note that we are not responsible for any misuse of this feature.

DH 2.0 and DroneID Removal

While DH 2.0 will bring significant updates and new functionalities for the Mavic 3, it will not include the DroneID removal feature. Here's what this means for you:

• DH 1.0 Users: If you want to continue using the DroneID removal feature, you can stick with DH 1.0. However, you won't have access to the new features coming in DH 2.0.
• DH 2.0 Users: If you upgrade to DH 2.0, you will gain access to our latest features and enhancements, but the DroneID removal feature will not be available.

Transition Period and Support

Once DH 2.0 supports all older models, DH 1.0 will be discontinued. Here’s the timeline:

• 90-Day Support Window: After the first full release of DH 2, DH 1 will have a 90-day support period. Beyond this, DH 1.0 will no longer receive support.
• Model Support: If a model is already supported by DH 2.0, it will not receive any further updates or support in DH 1.0.

License Compatibility

Licenses purchased for DH 2.0 will be compatible with DH 1.0, and vice versa. This means you can switch between versions as needed without having to buy a new license.
